Most apps make you choose: project management OR trip management. CrewPoint pairs the two — for the small group of people you actually coordinate with.

The problem

You're planning a backpacking trip with friends, a wedding weekend with cousins, or a community event with neighbors. The shape is the same: a small group of people with shared work, shared money, and a chat thread that needs to wake people up when timing actually matters.

Project management tools are too heavy. Group chat is too thin. Splitwise covers money but not tasks. Slack covers chat but doesn't balance the books. None of them know the trip ends in three days.

The vision

CrewPoint is built for that small-group, high-context, finite-scope shape. Events are first-class. Tasks live inside events. Expenses live inside events. Chat lives inside events. When the event ends, the balances settle, the tasks archive, and the group moves on.

The role model is owner / admin / member with every transition gated server-side. Settlements deep-link into Venmo or CashApp — CrewPoint never holds your money. Urgent messages fan out via opt-in push so "we're leaving in 10 minutes" reaches the people who need it.

How it differs from Sanctuary

Sanctuary is anonymous and solo-focused. CrewPoint is the opposite: identity-aware (you sign in), group-oriented, and centered on shared work and shared money. Both ship under the Sookoon umbrella because they solve different needs of the same people.
